STAY A LITTLE LONGER

Grand Pacific Tours can arrange additional nights’ accommodation either before and/or after the tour. As some flights arrive late at night and others depart early morning, extra nights are highly recommended to allow time to relax before the tour commences.

TRAVEL IN STYLE!

The tour price includes a stylish array of travel goods including a durable travel bag, ticket wallet, toiletry wet pack, laundry bag, luggage label, personal name badge, personalised itinerary, Optional Tours Directory, postcard, customs required resealable plastic bag and touring map.

DON’T FORGET YOUR JACKET!

Two quality merchandise items are available for sale - a wool blend Cap and waterproof Touring Jacket. Please advise at time of booking if you wish to purchase any merchandise.

For Australian residents Grand Pacific Tours documentation including any merchandise will be forwarded to your Travel Agent two weeks prior to departure.  For international travellers your kit will be provided on your arrival into New Zealand at the first tour hotel.

AIRPORT TRANSFERS

From the moment you arrive, a friendly smile awaits. Our Meet and Greet Representatives ensure that everyone is welcomed in true Kiwi style. Return airport to hotel transfers are provided for all travellers.

LET US CARRY YOUR BAGS

From the moment you arrive in New Zealand you will be assisted with your luggage. Each touring day you will leave your packed bags at the hotel door for the porters to collect. The porters will then assist the Coach Captain to load all bags safely onto the coach. On arrival at each new hotel, the luggage will be delivered to your hotel room.

A VIEW FROM EVERY SEAT

A daily seat rotation system operates throughout the coach, giving everyone an equal touring experience and an opportunity to interact with all travellers.

ANYONE FOR A HELICOPTER RIDE?

In certain locations you will have free time to participate in a range of Optional Activities from jet boating to helicopter rides. An Optional Tours Directory is provided prior to travel so that travellers can budget for any extra activities. A range of discount coupons are also included for local Auckland and Christchurch activities for any travellers with pre or post tour accommodation.

SAFETY IS IMPORTANT

On the first morning of travel the Coach Captain will play a short introductory DVD providing some useful information; this will ensure all travellers are fully briefed on a range of health and safety topics.

MEET AND GREET

On arrival at each hotel a member of the management team will board the coach and provide a friendly welcome, including a full brief on the hotels facilities and surrounds. At selected hotels, travellers will receive an official welcome letter called ‘Hotel Hints’ detailing the hotel facilities.

PERSONALISED SERVICE

When travelling with a group, it is still important that the holiday is a personal experience. That’s why we have confirmed one guide per 24 travellers for any guided tour inclusion.

WINE TIME!

An opportunity for you to relive the day’s highlights with your fellow travellers at Wine Time! Each evening, one hour prior to dinner, the hotel will provide a discounted drink offer on selected beverages. The Coach Captain will advise all travellers of each hotel’s special.

NO MESSY MEAL SUPPLEMENTS!

Our tours are inclusive of a daily cooked breakfast and most dinners. An occasional night is free to dine at leisure so that you can soak up the ambience of the local surrounds.

THIS TABLE IS RESERVED

At meal time travellers will never have to worry about finding a table to dine at. All Grand Pacific Tours’ groups are provided with priority reserved dining at breakfast and dinner.

SPECIALTY DINING (SD)

Each tour incorporates a number of specialty dinners including a traditional Haggis Ceremony in Dunedin, gourmet barbecue at Walter Peak Homestead in Queenstown and a colourful Maori Hangi and Concert in Rotorua. These special evenings will be a highlight of your touring experience.

A FITTING FAREWELL

A farewell dinner on the last night of the tour offers the perfect opportunity for you to say goodbye to new found friends. Celebrate, have fun and share great memories of your time together.

WE ARE HERE TO ASSIST

Our qualified Operations Team in New Zealand ensure the smooth delivery of every tour. Located in the North and South Islands, they provide personal assistance to both the travellers and Coach Captains whenever required. A Dinner Host is also on site for your first nights’ dinner to assist with introductions.

YOUR FEEDBACK IS IMPORTANT

At the end of each tour all travellers complete a comprehensive questionnaire which allows us to closely monitor any items that need attention. This feedback ensures we can act quickly, so that any issue can be rectified immediately.

PERSONAL GUARANTEE

Grand Pacific Tours run a Trust Account holding clients’ monies until tour payments are settled. All tours are prepaid to New Zealand hotels and attractions.
