We have just returned from 19 day rail, cruise and coach tour of NZ. On tour were 6 from UK, 2 from Canada, 2 from Alaska and 29 Aussies. It was a great organised tour. Our guide Peter Talbot and our 2 coach captains, Geoff Hague (North Island) and Ross Pickering (South Island) were a wealth of knowledge, caring and so much fun, even though they paid out on us a lot. Thanks guys. The highlights were the overnight cruise on the Ipipiri, Bay of Islands, Southwards car museum, Olveston house, Steam train trips, cruise on the Earnslaw on Lake Wakatipu to Walter Peak station and the helicoper ride and landing on Franz Josef glacier. It was devasting to see Christchurch after the quake. If you are thinking of a tour of NZ, we highly recommend Grand Pacific tours.

"I have just returned from a wonderful holiday to New Zealand on your 19 Day Coach/Rail Holiday. The Tour Escort Jack was the best anyone could wish for. He looked after all 47 on the tour and was always there for any of us. Both drivers Rob and Dennis were equally competent and knowledgeable in all their commentary. The content of the tour was first class as were the hotels, food, organisation, outings and optional tours. The five train rides were a real experience. The finish of an optional flight and landing on the glacier was a real winner. I will certainly consider your company for future travel."
