CELEBRATING 10 YEARS!

Elizabeth Bezzina  -  Executive Manager Product

Congratulations to Elizabeth who celebrated her 10th Anniversary working at GPT in April. Lots of fabulous memories created and we wish her all the best for the next 10 years!!!  Hip hip hooray!

 

NEWLY APPOINTED!

Nikki Alves  -  Business Development Manager (Victoria & Tasmania)
With existing sales experience from her previous role with Kirra Tours, Nikki is extremely excited to be getting back out on the road on a full time basis… although she is sad to be leaving her great reservations team behind. The commencement date for her start in this role is to be confirmed however, Nikki will be taking on some presentation/expo commitments in the meantime and a full Sales induction programme will be constructed before we let her loose on the road!!! Nikki replaces the departed Daniel Turner.

I am sure you will all agree that Nikki will be a great ambassador for GPT out on the road and she is thrilled to have the support of the Head Office team on her doorstep. Congratulations Nikki!

 

Cheryl Dootson  -  Reservations Supervisor

With Nikki’s appointment to Business Development Manager, this has obviously left a gap within the Reservations Department. It’s with pleasure to announce that Cheryl has accepted the challenge and has been promoted into the role as Reservations Supervisor, looking after the department on a day to day basis. Vanesa, in her role as Business Operations Manager, will be supporting Cheryl with the more strategic areas to build up to a full Reservations management role. Unbelievably Cheryl has been here nearly a year and has overseen the department several times in Nikki’s absence and has done a brilliant job and full of enthusiasm for the future of the Reservations Department. The Ticketing Department will report to Vanesa directly.

An exciting time ahead as we make our way towards a busy 17/18 season. Congratulations Cheryl!

 

SAD TO SAY GOODBYE! 

Nayla Taula  -  Reservations Consultant
Nayla had returned to the workforce as a mother of 5 children and known to some of the girls in the office from earlier days at AAT Kings. Whilst working full time, her family has realised her return to work with several of the children still so young was maybe a little ambitious at this stage. Nayla has been a joy to have in the reservations team and such a positive person within the office.  

Nayla does not have a definitive departure date as she is prepared to work through our recruitment and training period of what will now be two new staff members which we greatly appreciate.
We wish Nayla all the best and we’re sure we’ll see you again soon!

 

Garry Deutsher  -  Tour Guide

With many years of guiding tours for GPT under his belt, Garry has decided to retire from ‘life on the road’ and pursue other adventures in life. We thank Garry for his dedication and commitment to GPT and wish him all the best for the future.
