Kiwi Country complexes in Te Anau, Geraldine and Westland Greenstone in Hokitika. 

The Kiwi Country Group operate three complexes in the South Island offering off street parking for coaches, extensive toilet facilities, large cafes and retail shops, currency exchange and free Wi-Fi. These complexes have been designed specifically with the coach market in mind and can handle large groups efficiently and quickly by providing excellent service.

The Te Anau complex (featuring a completely redeveloped café) is located in the middle of Te Anau and is open during summer until 9.00pm. Coaches travelling to Milford Sound use this complex for their morning or afternoon stop.

The Geraldine complex is located in the main Geraldine township and is only 10 years old. It services coaches travelling on the Christchurch – Mt Cook – Queenstown route and is frequently used for light refreshment and lunch stops.

In Hokitika, Westland Greenstone have been manufacturing New Zealand Greenstone (Jade / Pounamu) jewellery since 1962. The complex, located off the main road in town, also have and extensive range of clothing and souvenirs at very reasonable prices.

Commencing 01 September, the Kiwi Country Group is offering every GPT traveller 5% discount off the retail price on all shopping products across three locations (Westland Greenstone, this offer is exclusive to GPT travellers only). Travellers must wear their GPT name badge in order to receive the discount.

For GPT Crew, commission payable on sales will be paid as follows:

  • 10% at Kiwi Country complexes in Te Anau and Geraldine 
  • 15% at Westland Greenstone in Hokitika

On guided tours, commission payable to GPT Crew will be split 50/50 between the Coach Captain and Tour Guide.  The commission payment can be collected regularly at any time or 1-2 times a season.

GPT have signed a contract with the Kiwi Country Group that will provide these benefits to our travellers and Crew so we encourage supporting these complexes as much as possible.
