National Kiwi Hatchery Tour

They are extremely proud to have hatched over 2,000 kiwi chicks to date, making them the world's largest and most successful hatching centre. Visitors can enjoy a special 'behind the scenes' tour of the Hatchery to see real kiwi conservation in action. Learn all about the efforts of our kiwi husbandry team, discover what it takes to hatch a chick….and if you are really lucky, see baby chicks in person.
